D-Star Spins
We're really proud of our radio charts. These are the only independent radio play charts in the world! And thanks to D*Star they are powered by the most accurate reporting system available. To cut a long story short, The D-Star Spins system fingerprints your song by digitally reading it's wave pattern. When that wave pattern flies through the air via radio station broadcasts it will be recognised by the D-Star system and logged. It's far more accurate than playlist reporting or a randomised census. That said, for the system to recognise your song, you have to submit it to D-Star for fingerprinting. It won't cost you anything and it doesn't take much time. Go to https://www.dstarspins.com/submit-my-song.aspx to submit your song, you can even check if D-Star are already monitoring your song here. They have an FAQ page too if you want to know more.

HOW DO I GET ON THE D-STAR RADIO CHARTS?

D-Star Spins is a business-to-business service giving users the ability to track the rotations of music tracks played on radio and TV stations all over Australia. It is also an easy-to-use online tool for the tracking and analysis of when and where music tracks are played.

Content owners can get fast and accurate tracking of where their music is played on all major commercial radio stations in every capital city and important regional hubs such as the Gold Coast. Additionally they can see the rotations of songs at community radio and Triple J nationally. With data updated hourly, the system allows you to see track exactly when your songs get played. Full track airplay reports are available from D-Star Spins.

D-Star Spins provides the data for the collation of the weekly AIR independent airplay charts and aggregates the number of spins from the following stations:
