This clip reminds of the time that I was in high school carrying my drumkit through the empty hallways. School was finished and my band used one of the spare rooms there to make lots of noise. It was carefree and fun. It also reminds me of a beautiful girl in a white leotard, and a strange art class, and a bunch of happy looking nerdy people friends singing songs, and it's also confirmed that when my hair goes white, I should drop my silver framed spectacles and go for thicker and blacker frames... they look more cool but remain distinguished.
There's a buzz about "Songs" and it's not hard to see why the cool kids like them. Keeping It Clean is smart unadorned pop but their oeuvre consists of fuzzy garage rock, psychadelic folk and anything in between. They've always kept away from studio polish and as such are left without bullsh*t, grandeur or pretence, just their attitude and their (ahem) songs. They're released through the most excellent independent label Popfrenzy and I think they'll grown on you.
